"Principiis obsta; Finem respice." Olaf Rotkohl thinks that the pursuit of power over others is in itself a corruption, and those who seek such power are fundamentally corrupt. This space is dedicated as part of the constant challenge to those who seek to wield authority over the rest of us, keeping them on notice that they exert power only as it is granted to them by the people.

Hey, Olaf. Since you don't do myspace anymore and can't read my blog, I'll make this little pitch here.
I know that while you may not be the Obama supporter that mb and I are (maybe you are now, I don't know), but if you really want to get out the vote you can go to Obama's website, get a phone list and start enlisting people to vote. This is not about trying to flip McCain voters. It's just making sure Obama supporters get off the couch, put the bong down long enough to vote...and tell their lazy a$$es where to vote. It's what I've been doing most of the morning, and I've been able to get a lot of people excited about voting.
Seriously, it's really easy. They give you a script and everything.
Just a thought...
that message was from me btw--cb
They're gonna have to put the bong down? WTF? Sounds like an impossible task. ;-)
Thanks for the tip, CB. I'll do my best.
I made a promise to myself that I would never make a phone call for a democrat... I will, however, put my bong down long enough to vote for Obama.
