I don't know exactly, except that in their time (and even now) they were distinctly sculptured, quite innovative, and odd but beautiful. Their interiors were equally iconoclastic, and yet they ultimately were comfortable and spacious for passengers and wholly practical.
Do you not find them beautiful? Perhaps I was imprinted by a passing Citroen when I was too young to remember. Perhaps I was conceived in one.
