Another Step Toward the Totalitarian State

Well, thanks yet again to gutless Democrats who voted for cloture, the Bushits now have their loyal lackey on the Supreme Court. I speak, of course, of the confirmation of Samuel Alito, who is probably at this very moment swearing his allegiance to the person of George W. "Chimpie" Bush in the tradition of Roland Freisler.

Disgusting. Fifty-nine million suckers vote for a half-wit president. Now not even the courts can save us from his delusions.

Speaking of the totalitarian state, I was watching a PBS special about Nazis last night, and they showed footage from the Muremburg Trials, during which Goering said, "I had to authorize the camps without the consent of the court system... I was protecting the German people and their interests... I did it for the safety of Germany."

Oops... typo... Nuremburg... am I still spelling it wrong?

Regrettably, "Sieg heil" says it all. Hail to the victors. True whether you were Jewish, Communist, or homosexual in Nazi Germany; or poor, elderly, or a Democrat in Bushamerica. God, I pity the members of the White Rose, who believed in nonviolent resistance to the Nazis! If there were a heaven....

Sad, isn't it, that mentioning names like Goering and Freisler with Bush and his gang isn't so outrageous any more. Cindy Sheehan, whose son was killed fighting in Iraq, was roughly hauled out of the gallery in the Capitol last night for wearing a t-shirt that said "2242 Dead. How Many More?"

Your 1st Amendment Right gets chopped yet smaller again. When will the people rise against this growing tyranny?
