Lassie Takes Another Dump

Ever notice how porcine Rush Limbaugh is? I mean besides his considerably bloated and disgusting self. But I've never seen or heard a pig orally emit such defecation as the Hillbilly Heroin Homeboy has repeatedly done, and this week had to be a topper. From Limbaugh's own toilet of a website:
The Somali pirates, the merchant marine organizers who took a US merchant captain hostage for five days were inexperienced youths, the defense secretary, Roberts Gates, said yesterday, adding that the hijackers were between 17 and 19 years old. Now, just imagine the hue and cry had a Republican president ordered the shooting of black teenagers on the high seas...
...They were kids. The story is out, I don't know if it's true or not, but apparently the hijackers, these kids, the merchant marine organizers, Muslim kids, were upset, they wanted to just give the captain back and head home because they were running out of food, they were running out of fuel, they were surrounded by all these US Navy ships, big ships, and they just wanted out of there. That's the story, but then when one of them put a gun to the back of the captain, Mr. Phillips, then bam, bam, bam. There you have it, and three teenagers shot on the high seas at the order of President Obama.
Now remember, this is the jackass who repeatedly played "Barack the Magic Negro on his cesspit radio show, and has just about every credential an aspiring racist might want to acquire. And yet now the pirates are poor, black, teenage "merchant marine organizers." Truly, in the history of rhetorical dishonesty, this is a high-water mark.

But just for your own morbid curiosity, if you can arrange a thorough disinfection of your computer and everything that touches it, go over to Junkie Jerk's site and read it for yourself. Then find a shower like the one in Silkwood and get the shit scrubbed off with steel-bristle brushes.

Quite frankly, I'm not able to comment much on this idiot's ravings because it's like trying to find a corner on a sphere--yeah a sphere as engorged and polluted as the Hillbilly Heroin Homeboy.

What a complete waste of a post. Do you have some secret man-crush for ole rush? Why are you moaning on and on about an insignificant moron? An even better question might be; why are you not posting about the fact that the chosen one has TRIPLED the national debt in three fucking months in office. Or how congress passed the largest spending bill in our entire fucking history with out any of the fuckers actually reading it? The President has managed to spend more money in three months that ALL previous presidents COMBINED!! Just let that soak in for a moment. How in the fuck are we supposed to pay this shit back? At some point China and Russia are going to collect. But please by all means keep railing on good ole rush. That is by far the biggest issue facing America these days.

Hey, man, I'm just a blogger. But let me ask you some questions.

Were you bitching about the massive deficit incurred by your man-crush George W., and not because he was helping to develop our productive capability but rather to enrich two corrupt governments, Halliburton and related friends of Dick Cheney, loot the treasury, and destroy the regulatory apparatus? Did you rage against the loss of habeas corpus, an illegal war, torture, and the greatest misuse of classification of documents since Nixon?

Did you rail against the Medicare drug benefit that was unfunded, absolutely lied about to get it through Congress, and was essentially written by the pharmaceutical companies?

Did you recognize that instead of pissing our allies off and developing relations with former enemies who could have played huge roles in fighting terrorism (Russia, principally), instead we pushed them farther from a common benefit in stabilizing the middle east, and putting restraints on Iran, which Russia borders.

Did you protest Bush's bank handouts without accountability as the economy tanked, thanks to an ineffective SEC?

And speaking of not reading bills, did you cry foul when the Congress didn't read the war resolution that enabled the idiot president invade Iraq?

You can get back to me on all this.

I don't like this huge deficit either, but the prospect of a 1930s style depression is worse.

The federal government is the last entity that can kick start the economy, lest we stagnate for a decade and the rest of the world economy along with it.

Sure, I would love to address your questions point by point. First off however, I would like to remind you that I have no love (or man-crush) for the ex-president.

Yes, I was bitching about ole Georgie’s spending like a drunken sailor. He was never a fiscal steward of the people. But he has nothing on Obama regarding looting the treasury. Where is all the lovely hope-n-change transparency? Fuck, he’s already making Bush look like a fucking saint. We can debate the whole regulatory system. Good ole Barney Frank and Chris Dodd had more to do with that than anyone else. Just follow the money in political donations to find the real culprits there. Ahh the mantra of the kooky left regarding habeas corpus. In times of war, there has been the all out suspension of habeas corpus for American citizens (Abe Lincoln anyone?) but we are talking about FOREIGN nationals caught on the field of battle. Where exactly does it say that non-American citizens are required to be given habeas corpus rights? The “illegal” war….please tell me exactly what laws were broken? Looking back at the blood and treasure spent, I don’t think anyone with a rational bone in their body thinks the Iraq war was the right thing to do, even though Saddam was a brutal dictator who slaughtered his own countrymen.

I’ll be quite honest, that I know very little about the Medicare drug benefit fiasco. The drug companies have both sides of the isle pretty much in their pocket. We all know that lobbyists run this country. I think we agree that this is one of if not the biggest problems within our political system.

No doubt, Bush’s foreign policy (or lack there of) did not succeed in many instances. But please elaborate on how you get the fucking mullahs to cooperate? You seem to have it all figured out. Oh and how’s North Korea these days since the chosen one took office?

And yes, I most certainly did protest Bush’s bailouts. I was against EVERY SINGLE bailout proposal. I petitioned every one of my elected representatives to vote no. Why in the world are we rewarding incompetence and greed?

I am not an economist, but there is wide speculation on the prospect of a 30’s style depression if we did nothing. I do know that if the FED continues to print money like it is water, we will inevitably see hyper inflation not too far down the road. The dollar will be next to worthless. (70’s anyone?) I guess on the bright side of the dollar being worthless is that our debt will be worthless as well. Hell, let’s just pass a GAZILLION dollar budget. (Insert Dr Evil laugh here.)

I just didn’t understand your fascination with ole rush, when there is SO much other things to be furious over. But hey, it’s your blog.

Well, here's the fascination with Rush, and then I promise never to pick on him again. It's too easy.

When I lived in Alabama about 20 years ago, he was on all the little local stations. That was his genius--he built his audience from the ground up. But he was such a bootlicker for the GHW Bush administration, and his views were so extreme, that when I moved out west, I never gave it another thought.

Suddenly, he's on the national radar. And not only that, he began to actually influence the Republican Party to the point that it began shifting further and further right. How was it that this gasbag could have any credibility with the religious fundamentalists, fiscal conservatives, "values" voters, etc? He's now thrice-divorced, a former drug addict who somehow escaped prosecution, and who, by his own admission, is only an entertainer. I didn't understand it.

Then I realized that there wasn't any rational reason and trying to understand it was pointless, because hypocrisy, race-baiting, lies, inaccuracy, mean nothing to these people. They are never deterred by the pursuit of power, something Newt Gingrich made clear in 1994. And the Dems, always capable of doing everything to cripple themselves, failed to pay attention. Gingrich and Limbaugh, despite their failure to set any sort of moral example in a party that now placed issues like abortion and gay rights, And the Dems were so clueless that they actually tried to find a "middle way." That's why I'm so pissed at Clinton. Limbaugh, who should be just a bad joke, managed to intimidate the DNC.

Limbaugh continues to have more influence than he ought to--he was the keynote speaker at the Repub PAC, and so long as he is a central influence in the opposition party, he should be vehemently opposed and exposed.

But I'll shut up about him.

As far as your other points, you and I are far apart on Obama making Bush look like a saint.

Hyperinflation? I doubt it, because the Chinese can't afford to let all their dollar holdings vanish. They will continue to buy up dollars just to prevent their own wealth from disappearing. Political stability means more to the Chinese leadership than anything. They cannot afford to let the dollar fail. If it did, I agree that would be a disaster.

Let me point out that the suspension of habeas corpus could have been applied to American citizens. That's terrifying, and means that people can be simply "disappeared" without any way of representing their innocence. The definition of "enemy combatant" was so broad the executive power so deep that potentially anyone's ass was up for grabs.

There is good regulation and bad regulation, and sometimes absent regulation which is what led to the collapse of the banking and insurance companies. The derivatives developed had no oversight and required no transparency. When banks are playing with other peoples' money, there must be regulation to ensure that they don't make a casino of it. When Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 was repealed under Clinton in 1999, it essentially lifted the protections against what was essentially gambling by the banks and insurers. And I hate the fucking Democrats for participating in that, too.

We'll have to disagree on some of this, but I will agree to refrain from dealing with Pigboy again. He makes me feel like puking anyway.

Christ, why not make a joke out of ass-clown pig face dude? Sure, there are bigger things to think about, but so what? That's like saying, well, GOD is the most important thing to think about ALL the time, so don't ever think about putting that garlic into the hummus. Silly. I like garlic in my hummus, and small as it is, I need to think about that sometimes instead of recycling. Take a page out of good ole Dependable Renegade. A joke's a joke, and if it's a good one, then it's a good one. And this post also raises some good points about media, influence, apathy, confusion, capitalism, Marxism, past lives, and food. I applaud it, and would happily read more well-put-together posts that show me something and make me smile. If you ain't writing about the ultimate, final, most ginormous issue of our day (whatever the hell that would be) then I guess ole Anon here just ain't gonna be happy...of course, this all doesn't sound real happy...Flowers...just flowers...wouldn't it be great if we all just wrote about flowers...ALL the time...Screw it. Tell Limbaugh jokes. The strength of this blog is Olaf's spin on issues that are at once incredibly pissed off, verging on rage, and at the same time, very serious and spun with humor, and they also dig up specifics that I am personally interested in and that went under my radar. Olaf, isn't that a bit extreme to declare a final ultimatum to not make fun of Limbaugh? Why the hell not? If it's out there, it's fodder. Fuck it.

Olaf, please don't stop making fun of Pigman. If you must take a break, maybe you can make fun of Bill O'Reilly. He's an idiot too!
