"Principiis obsta; Finem respice." Olaf Rotkohl thinks that the pursuit of power over others is in itself a corruption, and those who seek such power are fundamentally corrupt. This space is dedicated as part of the constant challenge to those who seek to wield authority over the rest of us, keeping them on notice that they exert power only as it is granted to them by the people.

And Bill O'reilly defended waterboarding on Oprah today. It turns out that if you are accused of terrorism, the constitution doesn't apply to you.
This violates so much more than the constitution. Bill O is an ass.
If only everyone who supports waterboarding would volunteer for a ride at my little backyard waterpark, we could really test their sincerity about waterboarding not being torture.
And I'll even provide the towels afterward, nice double-thick terrycloth ones made from Egyptian long-staple cotton.
"say 'torture' and I'll stop! SAY 'TORTURE' AND I'LL STOP! you don't have to put yourself through this! Don't be stubborn! How long do you REALLY think you can hold out? Just scream out 'TORTURE' and we'll stop! You can go back to your undisclosed location and rest, huh? SAY IT!!"
