Landon and Anette Pharris, who were charged with contributing the delinquency of a minor, also were ordered to take parenting classes.
The parents hired the stripper to perform at a September party attended by about a dozen young people.

Uptight Down in Dixie
Since it's Friday, how about something lighter? Here is one reason to get the hell out of the South. I realize that stripping can be an exploitive business, but really--should parents be arrested for giving their son a birthday thrill? After all, he didn't have sex with the woman (which I'm sure he wanted to)--not that that would make any difference, because the age of consent in Tennesee is fourteen, I believe, and young girls that age can be married off to lecherous old dudes with no problem. Anyway,
