"Principiis obsta; Finem respice." Olaf Rotkohl thinks that the pursuit of power over others is in itself a corruption, and those who seek such power are fundamentally corrupt. This space is dedicated as part of the constant challenge to those who seek to wield authority over the rest of us, keeping them on notice that they exert power only as it is granted to them by the people.

Precious Daisy... She was a good dog and a good soul. I'm so sorry.
Sorry, man. Dogs have so much personality and give so much in their own way, hard not to get attached. Thing is, they just don't live all that long. My wife-to-be is really pressing to get a dog. I'm good with it when we move somewhere that it's a possibility, but yeah, I'll no doubt get attached, and that gives me pause. Maybe it shouldn't.

Ah, Daisy...
Whence cometh, and whither goest thou?
Poor Daisy...I'll never forget our long walks together and drinking in the middle of the afternoon while you cuddled at my feet...cb
Olaf,
We rarely see things the same way, but I offer my sincere condolences on the passing of your dog.
Thank you all for your kind words, particularly Anonymous, who demonstrates a grace above ideology. I am humbled.
Gawd, how I miss hearing those big clodhopper feet of hers padding down the hall to greet me.
so sorry, Olaf
