One Possible Theory on the Clinton and Bush-41 Friendship

Are Bill and George Sr. trying to engineer a quiet coup against Chimpie, who they realize is delusional, falling apart emotionally, and putting the nation in even graver danger than most realize?

That theory makes a lot of sense, not that logic makes it true, but if there's any decency and genuine concern for the republic in either of these dudes, perhaps that is exactly what is happening.

Ideas?

The idea makes me feel warm and fuzzy, but only a cock-eyed optimist would think if for even a split second. Hmm...I once worked with a man who killed his son with a shotgun,...but it still takes a cock-eyed optimist to hope for a repeat. C'mon, Big O!

We might suddenly see Chimpie have to resign due to "health reasons" right around the time Cheney is indicted. And the even better news is that the Repugs will still get wiped out in the 2006 election...not that that will get all the bastards out, because the lickspittle enabling Dems will still be there. But one step at a time.

Oh, man, I wish I got HBO--I got to see the first two episodes of "Rome" at a friend's house. Is it possible that "Rome" is a kind of oracle for our own republic? Will Caesar get whacked?
